Warning Signs

Gambling becomes a problem when it stops being fun. Watch for:

  • Spending more money or time gambling than you can afford
  • Chasing losses (betting more to win back what you lost)
  • Lying to family or friends about gambling
  • Borrowing money to gamble
  • Neglecting work, school, or relationships to gamble
  • Feeling anxious, depressed, or suicidal after gambling

Self-Exclusion

Ontario offers My PlayBreak, a province-wide self-exclusion program. You can voluntarily exclude yourself from all AGCO-licensed gambling sites and physical casinos for a chosen period (30 days to indefinitely). Visit myplaybreak.ca to enroll.
